About Us

The Greek Club incorporates a large purpose built function space, smaller meeting and function rooms and a restaurant/taverna for fine dining as well as more casual al fresco dining with stunning views over parklands to the city.

Located close to the city in the South Bank precinct it is close to the BCEC and South Bank Parklands.

While The Greek Club is a membership based organization, anyone can go there enjoying the fabulous hospitality and friendly service which The Greek Community is so well known for.

Since the 1920′s, there has been a strong Greek presence in the suburbs of West End and South Brisbane. In 1944, The Greek Community of St George was founded. Since then it has flourished and assisted its members with the development of Greek cultural and church activities in Brisbane. A new church was built in 1960 while the Greek Community Centre was opened in 1975.

The Greek Club is a not-for-profit membership based organization run by a team of hospitality industry professionals and directed by a Board of Directors.
